Maps & Directions

Positioned halfway between New York and Miami, North Carolina is the center of the east coast; therefore Lexington is centrally located  and is easily accessible.  North Carolina hosts three major airports, all of which are between 45 minutes and two hours driving time from Lexington, with I-85 (major interstate) connecting those airport cities to Lexington.

Lexington also has its own airport, the Davidson County Airport.

Davidson County Airport

Whether you’re flying into Davidson County for fun or business, the Davidson County Airport awaits you with state of the art equipment that includes a newly installed precision instrument landing system, a 5,000 foot runway, 40 hangers and a 12,000 square foot heated community hanger.  The facility also offers complete aircraft maintenance.

The Davidson County Airport offers a flying school, plane rides, tours that are ideal for field trips and a picnic area that’s perfect for just watching planes land and take off!
