After you get your homemade pimento cheese, walk across Main Street to The Candy Factory for good old-fashioned “Red Bird” peppermint candy made by Piedmont Candy Company right here in Lexington. The peppermint candy sticks and puffs are a mainstay, but these days when you walk in the door, your nose will be instantly drawn to the wonderful aroma of homemade, fresh fudge.
When you visit Mrs. Hanes Moravian Cookies all of your senses come alive! This family owned Davidson County business is truly one of a kind.
And you’ll want to try several of the barbecue restaurants and leave room for banana pudding or banana split!
