Opening Day for Farmers Market
Opening Day for Farmers Market
It's time to open for the 2021 Lexington Farmers Market season! It will be open every Saturday from May 1 through October 9, 2021 from 8 am to Noon. Mid-summer, they will also do pop-up markets Wednesday mornings behind Conrad & Hinkle. Stay tuned for lots more exciting news about what we have planned this year. Please note masks will be required for all vendors and shoppers in the Depot until the statewide order is lifted. If you do not want to wear a mask, they invite you to use the Pre-Order Drive Thru Lane or to ask the Market Manager to shop for you.

The event is co-sponsored by the Davidson County Extension Master Gardener Volunteers and Arts Davidson County. Artists plan to work to create their perfect visions, and guides will answer questions.

Annual plant sale at Farmer’s Market
The Davidson County Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Association (DCEMGVA) will present its annual fall plant sale. Fall is the best time to plant shrubs and trees and they have just what you need. Master Gardener Volunteers will donate plants from their yards for the sale. You will be able to choose from a wide variety of common and rare plants—shrubs, trees, perennials, vines/ground covers, NC natives, house plants and more. Prices will be far below retail! Bluebird houses and gently-used gardening items will also be available. Volunteers will be on hand to answer your gardening questions.
